NORTH Yorkshire furniture and kitchen manufacturer Treske has played a major role in the refurbishment of the Altrincham United Reformed Church in Trinity Hale, Cheshire.

Thirsk-based Treske, which celebrates its 40th anniversary this year, was chosen to provide a selection of church furniture including a bespoke sanctuary set, featuring a glass-topped communion table, lectern, table-top lectern and font stand.

The company also supplied the main nave seating in the form of solid beech, upholstered lightweight stacking chairs and three large screens.

Justin Bartlett, the managing director of Treske, said: "This was an excellent project for us, which strengthens our position as the leading manufacturer and supplier of church furniture for the North West.

"The feedback we have received from Trinity Hale has been tremendous, which is always very satisfying."

Treske has undertaken ecclesiastical projects for high-profile churches across the UK, including Ripon Cathedral; Bradford Cathedral; St George’s Chapel, Windsor; and St Martin-in-the-Fields in central London.
