STAFF at a York Law firm are celebrating after retaining the national Law Society’s law management quality mark, Lexcel, for the 12th year running.

To retain the accreditation, Langleys – which has offices in York and Lincoln – underwent a rigorous assessment process.

Lexcel is a recognised accreditation scheme for law firms and in-house legal departments which gives assurance that a practice meets high client care and business management standards.

Tamsin Cooper, risk and compliance director at Langleys, said: "We are proud to have retained the prestigious Lexcel accreditation.

"It is our clients and staff who are the main beneficiaries – they can be assured that the way we manage the practice has their interests at heart and runs efficiently.

“There is a lot of choice in the legal services market but being Lexcel accredited demonstrates our commitment to excellent client care and best practice."

Langleys holds several other accreditations including the Conveyancing Quality Scheme, Wills & Inheritance Quality Scheme and Investors in People.
