NORTH Yorkshire's last Popup Business Cafe of the year is being held next week in Malton.

The event will be the eighth Popup Business Cafe this year, and forms part of a series business advice events organised by the York, North Yorkshire and East Riding Enterprise Partnership to help business owners find support in their community.

The Malton event, which is being held at the Old Lodge on November 7 between 9am and 1pm, will feature business experts who have volunteered to answer business questions

So far this year, Popup Business Cafes have been staged in York, Northallerton, Settle, Richmond and Bridlington and have helped more than 100 people.

Martin Watson of BMRW Bikes attended the event at Your Bike Shed in York and said: "I’ve met lots of interesting people, networked with them, and picked up a lot of very, very useful information in a short space of time."

The Popup events have given business owners advice on everything from how to get more customers onto their website to what health and safety considerations a growing business needs

For Malton, there will be 12 business advisors help business with raising finance, tax and accountancy, commercial law, human resources, improving websites, new technology, marketing, health and safety, business growth, apprentices and training, business services, and business development.
