STAFF at a York store have seen their hard work and efforts recognised nationally.
The Outfit store at Monks Cross Shopping has been crowned Store of the Year 2014 in a UK-wide Outfit initiative after being judged against other shops on key performance indicators (KPIs).
Senior members of the Outfit and Arcadia team also made unannounced visits to the top shortlisted six stores and spoke to all members of the team including the manager and sales assistants, while assessing the stores’ displays,operational set-up and the customer experience.
The Monks Cross store was recognised for delivering a high performance consistently, staff showing commercial awareness, its new management structure and modern approach.
Shell Law, store manager, said: “It is really nice to have all our hard work recognised.”
Along with the title trophy the Outfit store have won a staff black-tie party to celebrate.
