A YORK based estate agency is continuing towards growth ambitions of more than 140 offices by the end of the year after acquiring a Lincolnshire agency.

Hunters, which was founded in York 21 years ago, has welcomed Turner Evans Stevens to the group.

With eight branches across the county, including Lincoln, Grimsby and Skegness, Turner Evans Stevens brings the total number of Hunters’ independently owned branches to 125 nationwide.

Kevin Hollinrake, managing director and Hunters Property Group founder, said: "This is fantastic news and we are delighted to expand our presence in Lincolnshire and partner with what is the most established and reputable property agents in the region.

"The founding partners and staff at Turner Evans Stevens bring a wealth of experience and local knowledge and we look forward to what promises to be a very successful future working together under the Hunters umbrella."

Hunters has experienced rapid growth and development in the past ten years, both organically and through acquisitions, to become the UK’s fastest-growing independent estate agency network with offices in London, Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool, Middlesbrough and Hull.

The company is working towards a target of more than 140 offices by the end of the year with a plan for further growth to around 500 offices in five years time.

Andy Bushell, sales director for Hunters Property Group said: "We believe that our customers are best served by estate agents who own and run their own businesses, supported by a strong national brand."
