A YORK travel agency is celebrating its 10th anniversary tomorrow with a grand official re-opening of its refurbished offices.

The celebrations at Quartz Travel, at 81, Heworth Road, will be launched at 11am when the Sheriff of York, John Kenny, cuts a ribbon, and will continue until 3pm.

Client manager Lynne Hutchinson said there would be refreshments and free prizes, with holiday vouchers given away and people booking holidays on Saturday given complimentary airport transfers and access to executive lounges at the airports.

She said DJ Paul Spence from Minster FM radio would attend the event from11am to 1pm, with live links back to the studio, and representatives of trade newspapers would be attending.

She added that the revamp had seen the original two separate rooms changed to open plan offices.
