CREATIVE digital agency Plump has developed a new website for community group The Rock of York.

Plump, based in Swinegate Court, facilitated a workshop for The Rock of York to explore aspirations for a new website.

The workshop encouraged the organisation to explore what they wanted to tell people about what they do, who their audience is and how they wanted their new website to look.

Rob Colley, client services director at Plump said: "Running a workshop allows our clients to be involved in the development of their website from the very beginning.

"The Rock of York identified through the workshop that their old website no longer represented who they are or who they aspire to be, nor did it demonstrate their unconventionality.

"his was our starting point to fully express the ethos and personality of The Rock of York in their new website.”

Plump used the findings from the workshop to develop an outline of the new website, consulting with The Rock of York along the way.

Graham Grant, director at The Rock of York, which includes The Rock Church, Academy of Dance, Lifezone and Urban Revolution youth programs, said: "We selected Plump because it was clear they were not just approaching this task from a technical or design perspective.

"They started by understanding the DNA of the organisation, and ‘why’ we do what we do.

"This evolved into an unconventional design that supports what we are trying to achieve."
