EASINGWOLD developer Mulgrave Properties has moved into larger premises and is beginning a recruitment drive following a "strong" year.

Since opening a year ago, the business has relocated to bigger offices on the Hawk Creative Business Park.

Over the last 12 months Mulgrave Properties has completed its Nessfield Place development of nine family homes in Nunthorpe, as well as being granted planning permission for its Oxenby Place scheme for 22 new homes in Easingwold, with work set to start on the site later this year.

Planning permission has also been granted recently for the Parade in Sandsend, a development of three houses with construction starting in the coming months, while Mulgrave Properties has also just submitted a planning application to deliver 26 family homes in Cloughton, Scarborough.

Mulgrave Properties is the residential property development company set up by the 350 year old North Yorkshire based Mulgrave Estate

Chief exective Andy Campbell said: “Our niche is delivering bespoke, medium sized developments that complement and enhance the local surroundings.

"The new office will ensure we have the required space as we look forward to expanding our team.”"

In recent years Mulgrave’s developments have been recognised by winning various industry awards. In 2012 the company won the RICS Pro Yorkshire Residential Design Award for The Valley development in Sandsend, near Whitby. This was followed up in June 2013 when they won the Best Large Housing Development award at the National LABC Awards for the exceptionally high quality of construction and workmanship at their Moorland Close scheme in Whitby.
