A YORK firm of chartered surveyors has overseen transactions bringing new owners into two North Yorkshire pubs.
Barry Crux and Company, based in Castlegate, has let The Half Moon Inn in Sharow, near Ripon, and has sold The Calcaria public house, inTadcaster, on behalf of Punch Taverns.
The Half Moon Inn has been let to Graham and Heather Raine, an experienced husband and wife team who have run several successful pubs and catering businesses in North Yorkshire over the years.
They have let the public house for a term of ten years off an asking rent of £17,500 per annum.
In a separate deal The Calcaria has been sold to a local company for their own occupation as a new retail unit.
The freehold public house was sold with the benefit of vacant possession off an asking price of £250,000, and attracted a good deal of interest.
