A HEALTH club has reopened in a North Yorkshire spa town following a £500,000 Investment.
The Academy, in Harrogate underwent the six-figured refurbishment in 16 days.
Philippa Shackleton, managing director for The Academy Health Club in Oakdale Place, said: "We are proud to be the oldest, most established and most experienced club in Harrogate.
"As such we are always looking to improve our offering and this year we have really committed to strengthening and improving on our position as one of the region’s leading health and fitness clubs.
"We have chosen to invest in Technogym’s ARTIS, which offers the most connected and well-rounded fitness experience today.”
"After a brief closure to install the new equipment and lay new flooring we are now fully reopen and looking forward to introducing our members to the new technology.
Ms Shackleton paid thanks to Yorkshire Bank and its commercial relationship manager Jeremy Bowers, plus all the contractors and staff teams who helped deliver the refurbishment in just over two weeks.
