A NORTH Yorkshire digital marketing agency has been shortlisted for seven national awards for digital excellence.

The nomination's for Harrogate-based 9xb come as the firm is shortlisted in the Press Business Award for Technology Business of the Year.

The company’s work to deliver Bathstore’s new online presence has been shortlisted for a BIMA marketing award and a Digital Impact award for best use of digital in the retail sector.

The project, which led to the bathroom retailer jumping 309 places to fifth position in the Retail 500 listing of top UK online stores, has also made the finals of the national Ecommerce awards for best website re-launch.

9xb’s new international website for global engineering consultancy WYG has been shortlisted for a DADI awards and has reached the finals of both the BIMA and Digital Impact awards.

Finally, an innovative digital strategy for Leeds firm Express Bi-folding Doors has earned 9xb a seventh shortlisting.

Rob Burns, managing director of 9xb, said the award successes recognised the firm’s ability to deliver creativity of his team.

He said: "Working with big brands such as Bathstore, Hi-Tec and M&S means we have to be at the forefront of innovation in design, product development, marketing strategy and software development.

"All these projects were highly bespoke and incorporated industry-leading software.”

The winners of the BIMA awards will be announced in September with the other awards ceremonies being held in October.
