A FIRM of fabrication engineers in Tadcaster has received a 2014 Gold Award from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents.
The RoSPA Awards, which date back 58 years, awarded their top Occupational Health & Safety Award to Tadweld.
Tadweld Limited of Tadcaster, is celebrating winning one of the prestigious RoSPA (the ) Occupational Health & Safety Gold Awards 2014.
David Rawlings, RoSPA awards manager, said "Tadweld has shown continuous commitment to protecting the health and well-being of its employees and others.
"Organisations that gain Gold Awards for their health & Safety management systems, such as Tadweld, contribute to a collective raising of the bar for others to aspire to, and we offer them our congratulations."
The RoSPA Awards recognise commitment and continuous improvement in accident and ill health prevention at work.
Through the scheme judges consider entrants, overarching occupational health & safety management systems, including practices such as leadership and workforce involvement.
