A YORK based construction company is celebrating after doing the double at a regional awards ceremony.
The Construction Excellence Yorkshire and Humber Awards saw William Anelay Ltd take home the title of Heritage Project of the Year for iits World at Wentworth Project.
Charles Anelay received the award from Sue Clifford of Ornate Interiors, pictured above.
The firm also won a highly commended award for its Sheffield Cathedral Gateway project.
The awards are run by Constructing Excellence Yorkshire and Humber (CEYH) which is delivered via the Centre for Knowledge Exchange (CKE) at Leeds Metropolitan University.
The finalists will now go on to represent Yorkshire and the Humber at the National Constructing Excellence Awards in London in Autumn.
Claire Bowles, regional director of Constructing Excellence Yorkshire and Humber said: "The popularity and quality of submissions this year has been second to none reflecting an upturn in our regional construction sector.
"We wish all of the winners the best of luck in the national finals in London in November."
