THE office supplies firm which took over York's Wallis Business Services has acquired another company as it looks to achieve £30 million annual sales.
Complete Office Solutions (COS) purchased Wallis Business Services, which had been trading from Clifton Moor since 1965, two years ago.
Now the Wakefield-headquartered company has acquired £1.5 million dealer Dales Office Supplies and Equipment, based in Leeds.
The existing Dales team is set to join COS, taking the total sales team to 48 people across all sales divisions.
Dales owner Bill Cowling says: "It has been a long time coming but I am now excited by what the deal can and will do for us and our customers.
"The team at COS have been absolutely fantastic and we are all looking forward to the next
chapter."
Complete Office Solutions Managing Director, Richard Coulson added: "I am delighted to have finally concluded the deal, I have been chasing Bill Cowling for many years, the team at Dales are very strong and they all fit brilliantly into our structure.
"The company has already been relocated into our Wakefield site and we are very much looking forward to working with them all.
"We have been working really hard for a number of years on the structure of COS and on what we offer our customers, and I can honestly say we are ideally placed for the next phase in our development.
"With everything in place, we a have set ourselves a challenging three year plan to reach £50 million from a healthy mix of organic growth and further acquisition and the Dales deal is another positive step forward for us, and we have some very exciting developments in the background.".
