A NORTH Yorkshire bakeware firm which supplies bakery, catering and food processing industries has secured a national accreditation in recognition of its staff.

Pickering-based Invicta Bakeware has received the Investors in People (IiP) award after demonstrating its commitment to staff development and service standards.

Invicta managing director John Waddington, said: “I am thrilled we have achieved this accolade. Invicta has an amazing team of staff who work hard every day to provide the best possible service to our customers, whether this is producing finely crafted items in the factory, making deliveries or providing sales advice.

“It has often been said that an organization is only as good as its people but I sincerely believe this to be the case and our members of staff are very much the cornerstones of the business.

With more than 100 years of manufacturing history behind it, Invicta employs a team of around 30 staff, many of which have been with the company for the majority of their working lives.

Invita is know in the industry predominantly for its product range of stainless steel bakery racks, oven racks, baking sheets and trays, cup trays and range of bread pans and cake tins.

Earlier this year, the company launched its new trading division Food Industry Supplies, offering a range of plastic products alongside its metalware collection.
