A YORK hotel is one of only 29 venues across the UK to receive an industry accreditation for its meetings and events credentials.

Holiday Inn York, part of the hotel chain IHG UK & Ireland Managed Hotels, has achieved the VenueVerdict Gold Standard Accreditation for the first quarter of 2014. The annual gold accreditation, which only 29 venues in the UK have received this quarter, is based on research conducted by BDRC Continental, the UK’s largest independent market research agency.

The feedback from more than 22,000 event hosts, bookers and customers across more than 350 venues, looks at how likely delegates and guests are to recommend a venue for a conference, meeting or event.
