AN event is being held to help businesses in York find out more about super fast broadband vouchers.
York's Guild Hall is hosting the event on April 17, offering the small to medium sized businesses the chance to find out how they can get up to £30,000 to cover the cost of improved broadband connections.
The vouchers are being offered as part of York's status as a Super Connected Cities under the Government programme.
The event is split into two sessions running from 1.30pm to 2.30pm, and from 3.30pm to 4.30pm
There will be a description and working display on what faster connectivity could mean for business and how to apply for the connection voucher. Suppliers will also be present so businesses can request a free quote if they are interested in a voucher.
The event is free. To attend businesses are asked to e mail YorkSuperConnectedCity@york.gov.uk and let them know which event they would like to attend. Businesses must register for the event before Wednesday, April 16.
