A YORK PR agency has been shortlisted for a client satisfaction award alongside securing a place on the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses programme.

The Partners Group, based in The Mount, is a finalist in the 2014 Recommended Agency Register Awards, for the third year running, and is the only Yorkshire-based firm in the public relations category.

The shortlisting comes as The Partners Group is placed on the Goldman Sachs programme in light of the company's ambition to double its size in the next three years.

The support programme has been running in Yorkshire since 2010 and is targeted at businesses and social enterprises with clear ambitions to grow.

It is based on the principle that greater access to education and business support services addresses barriers to growth. The programme provides support to enable businesses to unlock the economic and job creation potential of small businesses and social enterprises operating in the UK.

Partners director Monica Green, said: “The fact that our growth ambitions have been recognised, is fantastic news for us and our team. We can’t wait to get started.

"We are delighted to be shortlisted for the award too and are very grateful to those clients who took the time to recommended us.

"We’re hoping it’s third time lucky for us this year.”

The RAR awards recognise agencies that have been highly rated by their clients for PR and marketing services. They are also judged on areas of client service such as creativity, effectiveness, value for money, strategic thinking, client service, on-time record and on-budget record.

The winners will be announced on April 23.

The Partners Group is a nine-strong team of communications professionals, working with organisations throughout the UK in the property, construction, food processing, legal, education, hotel and leisure sectors.
