EVENT services provider Joe Manby Limited has been shortlisted for an industry award as the business celebrates its 40th anniversary.
The Harrogate-based, family-owned firm has been announced as a finalist in the ‘Best Supplier to Organisers’ category of the Exhibition News Awards 2014.
Joe Manby Ltd, based in Hookstone Park, was established by Joe Manby in 1974 to service the local events market.
Today sons Richard and Andrew run the business, which has a portfolio of 75 events nationwide, a worldwide customer base and a full-time staff of 34.
Richard, company director, said: “We pride ourselves in delivering a professional, quality and personal service at all times and to all our clients.
“It is an approach that continues to win us longstanding loyalty among our customers. The Harrogate Christmas & Gift Fair and the Harrogate Nursery Fair have been with us since 1974, while we’ve been supplying event services to the Conservative Party Conference since 1985.
“We are delighted to be a finalist in the ‘best supplier to organisers’ category. It reflects the dedication and hard work of the entire team.” Winners of the Exhibition News Awards will be revealed at a ceremony in London on April 3.
