SIMON Weston OBE has been lined up as the guest speaker at the Chamber of Commerce’s annual dinner.
The Leeds, York and North Yorkshire Chamber has invited the Falklands veteran to speak at its dinner in York on March 27.
Mr Weston will be speaking about achievement and triumph over adversity, drawing on his own experience in overcoming 46 per cent burns as a result of being on board the Sir Galahad when it was destroyed in 1982.
The dinner is being held at the National Railway Museum, with tickets available in tables of ten or individually.
A spokesperson for the chamber said: “We know this will be an inspiring and moving presentation from Simon.
“The Chamber annual dinner in York is a great opportunity to entertain clients and network with the region’s business leaders.
“Bookings and table allocations will be dealt with on a first come, first served basis.”
