Harrogate has been announced as the site of a new Travelodge Hotel as part of a £100 million investment by the group which will create 1,000 jobs. T
ravelodge said it will open 15 new hotels, including the proposed North Yorkshire development, with posts for managers, receptionists, cleaners and restaurant staff.
Travelodge chief executive Peter Gowers said: “During the last year we modernised more than 200 of our hotels across the country and we are on schedule to transform the majority of our portfolio by this autumn.”
