TWO new commercial tenants are moving into an historic estate outside York.
The two letting deals have been completed at Escrick Park Estate, which has been owned and managed by the Forbes Adam family for 300 years.
Nexus DNA Films, a Yorkshire film-making and photographic company, has taken 1,500 sq of workshop and showroom space at Milner’s Yard, in Riccall Grange, while New County Safety Systems have taken 600 sq ft of quality office space at 2 Park Court.
At the same time, Escrick Park-based business advice and accountancy company Numerical Therapy, also known as CGA, has extended its lease by six years.
Charles Forbes Adam, the owner and developer of Escrick Park, said: “We are delighted to welcome these two new tenants to our business park.
“Their arrival is a ringing endorsement of the quality of our rural offices, which are attracting new occupiers in challenging economic times.”
Escrick Park’s 22 offices currently boast an 80 per cent occupation rate.
The development was created out of seven redundant farmsteads following a £1.4 million refurbishment, and has since created 130 jobs.
The farm building conversions won the coveted Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors Award.
