A NORTH Yorkshire business is to open two new dementia care homes after securing bank funding.
Vida Healthcare opened the £5 million 70-bed Vida Hall in Starbeck, Harrogate, last year which created 70 new jobs.
The company, run by father-and-son team Chris and James Rycroft, plans to create five homes in total, with 500 places.
It has now secured funding from Yorkshire Bank’s Business and Private Banking Centre in York for the next two homes and is now deciding the locations, which will be in Yorkshire.
