York Van Centre Best New Isuzu Dealership

YORK Van Centre has been recognised as the Best New Isuzu Dealership in the UK by Isuzu Motors.
The dealership was taken over in November 2011 by local family-run business York Van Centre Ltd, set up by Tony Huggins, managing director, and his wife, Liz, in 1992.
The business will celebrate its 21st anniversary later this year, and has grown to operate two purpose-built sites in Shipton-by-Beningbrough and Poppleton.
Mr Huggins said he was delighted to be recognised out of the 100 Isuzu dealerships around the country.
He said: “We are just a small team, but all our people are dedicated and committed to making this dealership a success here in York.” The dealership sells new and used Isuzu pick-up trucks and all makes of used commercial vehicles. Much of its success has been due to the sales of the new Isuzu D-Max. Dave Badder, regional development manager of Isuzu, said: “This award recognises the most innovative and successful new Isuzu dealership in the UK throughout 2012. Tony and his team have done a fantastic job since the launch back in November 2011 and it’s great to see it doing so well, particularly in the current climate.”
