YORK businesses have joined forces to raise money to build a school for 300 children in Kamunthini, in rural Kenya.

Staff from Ashtons Estate Agents, Hethertons Solicitors, Yorvik Homes and Intandem Communications will walk the Three Peaks of Yorkshire on May 18 to raise money for Build Africa’s Build A School programme, followed by a charity summer ball on June 8 at York Racecourse.

All the money will go to build four new classrooms in the first year of the businesses’ association with the charity.

See intandemcommunications.co.uk/build-africa-york to donate.
