Meet the faces behind the civil service departments

Charity and voluntary organisations will find out who’s who in the civil service in Yorkshire next month.
Yorkshire and Humber: The people and government bodies that matter now event will introduce voluntary and community organisations to civil servants from major departments in the region to provide a clear picture of their work, regional structures and how the voluntary and community sector can link in.
Organised by Involve, a social business which supports the voluntary and community sector, the event will take place at York Priory Street Centre, on March 14, from 10am to 12pm.
Speakers will include Judy Robinson, chief executive at Involve Yorkshire & Humber; Isobel Mills, director of BIS Local Team, Department for Business Innovation and Skills; Paul Schofield, local intelligence manager, Yorkshire Office for Civil Society; Andy Tordoff, head of RDPE delivery team Yorkshire & North East for the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs; Patrick White, of the Department for Communities & Local Government and Margaret Jackson, head of northern engagement team, Department for Transport.
