A NORTH Yorkshire businesswoman with experience at major retailers has been appointed as a governor at Cundall Manor Independent School, near Thirsk.
Lindsay Austin, who has held a number of senior positions across retail, marketing, ecommerce and HR with her current employer Marks & Spencer, will be responsible for HR, business development and marketing on the school board.
Sir Thomas Ingilby, chairman of the board of governors, said Lindsay would have an invaluable role to play in the further development of the school.
