ENTERPRISE Rockers has urged micro businesses to keep going as it celebrates its first birthday.
The movement, which supports and campaigns on behalf of businesses from one-man bands to nine employees, said it was likely to be a difficult trading year.
Tina Boden, co-founder of the nationwide campaign, based in Scarborough, said: “We want to encourage micro-enterprise owners across the UK to keep supporting each other, as it will be this kind of localised support that will be critical in the coming months.
“We want people to be inspired by real-life micro business owners. We do not want them to believe that every business owner drives a Ferrari. Most micro-business owners aren’t earning vast sums of money, however, they are successful, happy and fulfilling their ambitions. It is these people who will be keeping the UK economy going, thanks to their commitment, drive and passion.”
