THE Yorkshire and Humber construction market is expected to turn a corner this year after an “horrendous” year for the sector.
The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors said a quarter of its members predicted output would increase in 2013 in its latest construction market survey.
They also saw a small increase in reported workloads in the final three months of 2012, with a net balance of ten per cent more respondents saying activity had increased.
