ONE of York’s top restaurants is in line for a facelift.
Greene King Restaurants wants to refurbish Loch Fyne in Walmgate and has submitted a planning application to City of York Council.
The firm wants to install new lights, repaint the inside of Foss Bridge House, revamp the floors and walls, and provide better ventilation and new seating.
In a statement to the council, Greene King’s planning agents Hunter Patel Creative Group said the firm was “committed to the survival of the building” and wanted to give it a “fresh” look, but said any listed features would be protected.
