UNSUNG heroes at City of York Council have been rewarded at the second annual eXtra factor Customer Service Awards.
Chief executive Kersten England hosted a festive event at the Park Inn hotel, which was attended by 200 council workers, colleagues and members of the public who had nominated them for an award.
Council workers who help people with physical, sensory or learning disabilities, the sport and active leisure team, librarians and youth workers were among the winners.
