A DESIGN agency shortlisted for Small Business Of The Year in The Press Business Awards has updated the image of one of the world’s oldest schools.
United By Design has created the new branding and communications for St Peter’s School in York, which was founded by St Paulinus in 627 AD.
The school is using the new branding across its entire portfolio of communications, including all stationery and literature, as well as its website and a mobile phone application.
Owen Turner, United By Design’s owner and creative director, said: “It has been an honour to work on this account. St Peter’s is one of the most historic and respected schools in the UK, and we were very keen to continue to reflect this in our new design.
“Having said that, it was essential for the school’s branding to evolve into a more up-to-date image in order for it to meet its business objectives in the competitive marketplace of independent education.”
Hannah Hamilton, marketing and communications director at St Peter’s School, said: “We chose to work with Owen because we were impressed with the company’s approach and manner, and by their clear commitment to the wider community. This was indicated through their membership of such schemes as 1 per cent for the Planet, as well as their impressive portfolio of work.”
