REGENCY townhouse hotel, The Grange Hotel, on Bootham has appointed a new general manager and head chef.

Steven Hodgkinson, the new general manager, has more than 12 years experience in the hospitality industry, most recently as general manager of Aldwark Manor Golf & Spa Hotel.

Head chef Mark Branklin’s previous experience includes Crathorne Hall, executive head chef at Marriott Hollins Hall and head chef at Anthony at Flannels Restaurant in Leeds, where he helped the restaurant achieve Michelin Bib Gourmand status.

He has also worked with top brands Louis Vuitton and Paul Smith.
