A NORTH Yorkshire chocolatier has opened her own chocolate and patisserie shop at Beadlam Grange Farmshop, near Helmsley.
Kala King has been making chocolates and wedding cakes for two years from her home, selling her beautiful creations on Hovingham Market, in local farm shops and to bed and breakfasts.
She has now opened her shop to provide a window for her creations. Kala said: “I just wanted to take it to the next level. I can work here and customers can see how the chocolates are made plus I have a retail unit.”
Now she is planning to employ part-time staff to help at weekends when the farm shop is busy.
Kala also carries out workshops for adults and children including at the Workshop in Ebberston, near Scarborough.
