Bricklayer earns heritage award

SENIOR heritage bricklayer at GEM Construction in York, Graham Denton, has gained his Level 3 heritage skills diploma.
Kevin Kear, senior site manager, said: "At GEM we pride ourselves on the quality of our workmanship and it gives me great pleasure in awarding this certificate to Graham. This specific qualification is recognised as being particularly hard to gain.”
