SMALL communications company Red Publications has beaten off big competition to win five industry awards.

Red Publications, based at Clifton Moor in York, won two class winner trophies, an award of excellence and two certificates of merit at the Institute of Internal Communication awards, which recognise professionalism and excellence in the employee communications business.

Red picked up awards for its work with City of York Council, the Joseph Rowntree Foundation and Anglian Water’s @one Alliance.

Andy Douse, director, said: “We’re only a small company, but for the second year running we were also shortlisted in the Agency Of The Year category, which is a great achievement because many of our rivals are big organisations.”
