A COMPANY which welcomes more than 2 million visitors every year to its nine attractions is continuing to expand its portfolio.

Continuum Attractions, based in Margaret Street, has enjoyed double digit growth in its latest financial year as it continues to deliver culture experiences within the leisure and tourism market.

Employed more than 400 people across the UK, Continuum is hoping for success in the Large Business of the Year category, and the Retail, Tourism and Leisure Business of the Year award.

The past two years have seen the company announced new ventures, and in turn reach new markets. In 2016 and 2017 it started a collaboration with The Royal Mint to launch its visitor centre in Llantrisant, Wales, as well as two new Emmerdale themed attractions in partnership with ITV: The Emmerdale Studio Experience in Leeds city centre and The Emmerdale Village Tour on the working set located in the Harewood Estate.

Most recently in July 2017, Continuum Attractions purchased 100 per cent of the interests in GreenWood Forest Park, Y Felinheli, Gwynedd which launched a new venture into the family adventure park market.

The business said there are also imminent plans for a new project much closer to home.

In further recognition, for the second year the London Stock Exchange included Continuum in its report, 1,000 Companies to Inspire Britain.

Continuum’s other attractions include The York Chocolate Story, Emirates’ Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth, The Real Mary King’s Close in Edinburgh, Oxford Castle Unlocked, and The Canterbury Tales.
