A FOOD business launched just four years ago is eyeing up expansion with a third site following a 300 per cent rise in revenues.
Nought E Foods was established in 2011 by Vic Giannini with a retail unit in Blake Street.
The venture, which has entered the Small Business of the Year award, has since grown from a single site sandwich shop, to a vibrant business providing catering from two locations.
Always looking for ways to expand its offering, in May 2014 Nought E Food took on a new role as the dedicated wholesale provider for the brand new Hotel Chocolate café.
Ready for another challenge, September last year saw Nought E Foods take on the lease for Park Central, the onsite café at York Science Park.
Ms Giannini said: "Taking on an additional location, with an existing team of staff, was a challenge, but we skilfully managed the process of handing over, and the transition was a total success."
Not content with taking on a secondary premises, Nought E Foods has also worked hard to diversify its client list in the last year, and now caters for a range of events for more than 20 new clients.
Ms Giannini said: "2014 has been a year of huge growth for Nought E Foods. We have expanded the team, expanded the locations, developed the product range, and taken on new challenges, it has been a year that has seen us go from strength to strength.
"For Nought E Foods the next year will certainly see even more growth. The potential expansion to a third location will see the team grow even more, and is something weare very excited about."
