A BUSINESS formed with a two-year operating plan is enjoying its fifth year of trade and its first entry into the Press Business Awards.
Krystal’s Chocolicious is a chocolate fountain hire business, set up by Krystal Talmadge, who at the age of 28, is hoping to be named Young Entrepreneur of the Year.
Supplying a variety of events across North Yorkshire, the business has grown to a team of three and now offers other sweet catering services.
Trained chef Miss Talmadge, who is also entering Krystal’s Chocolicious for Small Business of the Year, said: “I wanted a new challenge for myself and wanted to use my new skills from University. I am a very hard worker and want every success for my future and I know if I don’t put the work in to drive my business I won’t have the success I want to achieve. The business is expanding again this year, looking for more office and work space to create more products and designs. I love my business and love what I do.
“I am now a 28-year-old woman with a family to support from Wheldrake, in York. I love what I do and I am very proud of what I have achieved in my life so far.”
