PLUMP is on a mission to become a leading digital ageny in the UK by creating a place for its team to thrive in York.

The Swingegate-based creative agency was founded by Rob Colley and Chris Lawson in 2008, and now work for a variety of clients including global sports brand adidas, education institutions such as York St John University and The Higher Education Academy as well as smaller local businesses such as Illuminate Development and Ardent.

Plump’s studio is currently home to seven digital media professionals who all live in and around York.

In 2011, realising a need to draw on additional business acumen, Mr Colley and Mr Lawson invited agency veteran Peter Colley to join them as a non-executive director and Chairman.

The duo said: "His influence sharpened our focus, helping to establish long term goals for the business which we set out in a jointly agreed 15 year business plan.

"Our strategy from this point forwards was to establish clear roles within the business which led to us employing James Howard as Technical Director in 2012.

"This gave us a more powerful and compelling creative, technical and client focussed proposition. Our vision is to be a leading digital agency in the UK and to create an outstanding place to work."
