THOMSON Robert (Bert) Ex British Rail Train Driver On April 24th, suddenly but peacefully at his eldest daughters home in Edinburgh (and his birth place) Bert aged 89 years, one week from his 90th birthday, most dearly beloved husband of the late Morag, cherished and adored dad of Marjorie, Sheila and Dorothy, father-in-law of Ian, Tom and Kevin and loving grandad of Rosslyn and Gary, Greig, Andy, Chris and Robbie and great-grandad of baby Rebecca. _ Funeral Service to take place at York Crematorium, on Wednesday May 9th at 1pm. Family flowers only please, but donations can be made to can be made to Macmillian Nurses. A plate will be provided at the Service. We canna bring the auld days back when we were `a the gither', but silent thoughts and memories dear will stay wi us forever.
