Notice ID: MF0249625

Notice effective from
29th November 2017 to 29th December 2017

NOTICE OF DETERMINATION A64 BARTON HILL JUNCTION SAFETY IMPROVEMENT SCHEME ENVIRONMENTAL IMpACT ASSESSMENT DETERMINATION uNDER SECTION 105 A (3) OF THE Highways ACT 1980 (AS AMENDED) Highways England gives notice that it has been determined that the A64 Barton Hill Junction Safety Improvement Scheme proposal which is a relevant project within the meaning of section 105A (1) of the Highways Act 1980 is not subject to environmental impact assessment in accordance with Part VA of the Highways Act 1980 implementing Directive 2011/92/EU as amended. This is due to the fact that no limitations were identified in the screening assessment with the environmental assessment concluding there would not be any permanent or temporary significant effects arising from the project. The localised extent of works, already within a road corridor, would not have a significant impact on the landscape character. The overall impact on protected species is considered neutral. The project is not predicted to change air quality or noise. No heritage features would be impacted. The project provides improved drainage and a small encroachment into the floodplain is not deemed to be significant. Further information on the project and about this notice may be obtained from
