PACEY Richard OBE JP Richard’s partner Keith and Richard’s family would like to express their thanks to all those who sent messages of sympathy for their recent loss and who attended the services on May 31. Fifty family members and close friends attended a private cremation service at East Riding Crematorium and around 300 people attended the subsequent service of celebration at St. Andrew’s Church. Middleton, Pickering, where tribute was paid to Richard’s contribution to the local community. A collection raised £2,200 to be split between Macmillan Cancer Support and St. Andrew’s Church. Particular thanks go to St. Catherine’s Hospice, Scarborough, for their care for Richard and the family, the Reverend Judy Duke for both services, TL Chapman Funeral Directors, Middleton Village Hall, Dales Florists and Sarah Scaife Catering Services.
