BRITTAIN Mel The family would like to thank all relatives, friends and colleagues for their kind expressions of sympathy, extended after the sad loss of Mel. Special thanks to the staff on ward 31 at York Hospital for their incredible care, to Canon Michael Smith for his kind words and comforting service, to William Derby and his team at York Racecourse for their kindness and generosity to J G Fielder and Son for their friendly and efficient arrangements and to all those who paid their respect at York Minster. Very kind donations made in Mel's memory came to over £2000 and these will be divided between St. Leonard's Hospice, Jack Berry House and York Minster.
