REISSMANN Hella On May 4, aged 84 years, peacefully, in York Hospital, formerly a nurse for many years in York. A loving mother, grandmother and recently a great-grandmother. Private family cremation, followed by a open memorial service at the Quaker Meeting House, Clifford Street, York, on Friday, May 11, at 11.30 a.m. No flowers please, donations to the Medical Sans Frontciere. A plate will be available at the service.

Have just heard of Hella's death. Some years ago my late wife and myself attended her German classes. We both benifited from her lively teaching and sampled some of her great cooking. A fine lady and a joy to know.
