CHEAL Edith May (Edie) Aged 90 years, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 16th, 2017, at York District Hospital. Late wife of Edward John Cheal (Ted) and daughter-in-law of the late Edward Lawrence Cheal (golf professional at York Golf Club). Loving mum of Anne and Margaret and a devoted gran to James and auntie to Clive, Lyn and Susan. Funeral service to be held at Strensall Methodist Chapel on Wednesday, August 2nd, at 12.15p.m., followed by committal at York Crematorium. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu to Cancer Research UK and the British Heart Foundation. A plate will be provided at the service. All enquiries to J Rymer Funeral Directors.
