WILSON Harry Historian of Sub-Saharan Africa and veteran of the History Department of The University of York - much loved husband of the late Ellen, a good friend and colleague and a much remembered teacher. Born June 29th 1928, died unexpectedly in York Hospital on June 18th 2017, aged 88 years. Funeral Service to be held at St Oswald's Church, Fulford, on Wednesday July 5th, at 1.15p.m., followed by a private committal. All enquiries to J G Fielder & Son Funeral Directors. Tel 01904 654460.
