HASSALL Brian On January 15th, peacefully at York Hospital, aged 85. Brian, beloved husband of Betty, loving father of Alison and Ian, father-in-law of Alison and John, cherished grandpa of Finn, Archie and Niamh, brother of the late Dorothy and Denis, much loved uncle and a good friend to many. Funeral service on Wednesday, January 25th, at St. Mary's Church, Haxby, at 1.45p.m., followed by a private cremation. So sad to hear of Brian's death. I remember him in the YLO productions with my late mum. Our condolences to all the family. Rowland Townson and daughters Janice and Linda.
