LLOYD-JONES June (nee Prendergast) Of Fulford, died peacefully on July 19th, 2016, aged 86. Much loved wife of the late David, mother to Simon, Caroline, Emma and Abigail and mother-in-law to Ruth, Ramon, Rob and James, nana to Rosie, Francis, Aurelia, Alice, Thea, George and Cate. Funeral service to be held at St. George's Catholic Church, Peel Street, York on Friday, August 5th, at 11.30am, followed by a family burial. Bright colours may be worn, as June would of liked! Family flowers only, please make any donations to the Alzheimer's Society. All enquiries to J. Rymer Funeral Services. Tel: 01904 624320.

My connection with June goes back to the mid-forties, at least 70 years. What happy carefree times we teenagers lived. Happy memories.
June was a precious friend and I am privileged to have been in contact with her over the years; infrequently of course because I have lived overseas for 64 years.
