ASHTON Irene On Thursday, April 23rd, peacefully in York Hospital, following a short illness, Irene aged 86 years (formerly of Elvington). Much loved wife of the late Tom, loving mum of Angela, Clive, Stella, Nigel and Vanessa, a dear mother-in-law, treasured grandma and great-grandma. Funeral Service to be held at York Crematorium, on Wednesday, May 6th, at 3.40 pm. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu will be gratefully received for York Against Cancer and Yorkshire Air Ambulance. A plate will be provided at the service.
